Semperit Divests Stake in M+R Dichtungstechnik

Semperit AG Holding has announced the sale of its stake in the German profile manufacturer M+R Dichtungstechnik to Trelleborg Group. This transaction marks a strategic move to optimize Semperit's portfolio, with a focus on growth and innovation. M+R, based in Seligenstadt, Germany, specialized in customized facade solutions, diverging from Semperit's primary focus on series production. The company had generated EUR 7.4 million in external sales in 2025 with a team of about 20 employees.

Semperit CEO, Manfred Stanek, highlighted the sale as a step towards streamlining the group's business operations and strengthening its foundation for sustainable growth. The transaction was finalized on September 1, 2026, coinciding with Semperit's aims to reduce complexity within the group while targeting attractive growth areas.
