Linglong Launches SPORT MASTER 2 at Tire Cologne 2026
On June 10, 2026, Linglong Tyre introduced its new ultra-high-performance tire, SPORT MASTER 2, at The Tire Cologne event in Germany. The launch attracted over 100 international clients and media, highlighting its significance.
SPORT MASTER 2, developed by Linglong’s European technical team, is produced at its European plant, marking the first overseas production base for a Chinese tire maker in Europe. The plant boasts certifications from Ford, Volkswagen, Audi, and BMW. The tire meets European standards in handling, safety, and sustainability, indicating Linglong’s move towards a premium market.
Key advancements include precision handling with optimized tread blocks, enhanced safety through even contact-pressure distribution, and extended mileage due to advanced compounds. The SPORT MASTER 2 is available in sizes suitable for sedans, sports cars, and SUVs/CUVs, with production commencing in Spring 2027.
