Silver X Mining Corp. Welcomes Mark NJ Ashcroft to Board

Silver X Mining Corp., based in Vancouver, has announced the appointment of Mark NJ Ashcroft, P.Eng., to its Board of Directors. Silver X, a company focused on precious metals exploration and production in Peru, believes Ashcroft's extensive 40-year experience in mining will benefit the firm. His career began with underground operations at Inco, and he has held senior roles in various public mining firms, notably leading Stonegate Agricom's successful IPO.

Ashcroft is the current President and CEO of Aurelius Minerals Inc. and serves on advisory boards, including at Laurentian University. His vast experience spans North and South America and Australia. His appointment is expected to enhance Silver X’s technical oversight amid its production expansion and asset development goals in Peru.

José M. Garcia, CEO of Silver X, expressed enthusiasm about Ashcroft’s joining, citing his expertise in mining operations and capital markets. Ashcroft is optimistic about the company’s growth strategy, highlighting its existing production and expansive potential anchored by scalable projects.
