ATHA Energy Corp Outlines Plans Following CAD $63 Million Financing
ATHA Energy Corp has announced plans following a significant financing of approximately CAD $63 million, involving a strategic investment from Queens Road Capital. This funding bolsters ATHA's position as a leading uranium explorer, with assets focused on the Angilak Uranium Project in Nunavut, Canada.
The 2026 Angilak Exploration Program will be the largest yet, expanding on discoveries from the previous year. Significant efforts will be made to expand mineralization at the Lac 50 Deposit and explore new corridors within the Angikuni Basin. Full mobilization is scheduled for March, aiming to begin exploration activities by late April or early May.
The program will utilize additional drilling capacity and comprehensive geophysical surveys to secure a greater understanding of the project's potential. Detailed plans and program specifics will be published in the first quarter of 2026.
