ATHA Energy Corp's Survey Reveals New Uranium Prospects at Angilak Project

ATHA Energy Corp has announced promising results from its Airborne Mobile MagnetoTellurics (MMT) survey at the Angilak Uranium Project in Nunavut, Canada. Covering nearly 85% of the original project, the survey has identified more than 100 km of potential uranium-conductive horizons.

The survey successfully achieved its objectives by confirming the depth of these horizons at the Lac 50 Deposit and Nine Iron Discovery, with potential extensions of over 1 km and 800 m respectively. Additionally, a new 25 km conductive trend, the Western Margin Trend, was discovered, showing similarities with Athabasca Basin deposits and accompanying historic uranium showings like Rib and Yat.

The results expand the exploration potential of the Angikuni Basin, indicating the presence of Athabasca-style mineralization at deeper levels than previously accessed by historic drilling. As ATHA Energy continues this exploration, the findings could place Angilak as a formidable uranium district.
