Sky Gold Corp. Initiates Fall Drilling at Tower Gold Target
Sky Gold Corp. has announced its forthcoming exploration activities on the Evening Star Property in Mineral County, Nevada. The focus will be on the "TOWER GOLD TARGET," where permits have been received for up to 9 drill pads. This target, first identified in 2021, is situated within a one-kilometer by 200-meter area, showcasing an arithmetic average of 2.01 grams per tonne gold based on 65 rock samples.
The forthcoming drill program aims to explore a 400-meter-long zone of gold soil and bedrock anomalies. The site also benefits from a new soil sampling survey, indicating elevated gold, silver, and copper levels correlating throughout the southeast area of the Tower Gold Target.
CEO Mike England remarked on the timely opportunity, buoyed by current gold prices, to advance exploration at Tower Gold. The drill program this fall looks to investigate further the potential distal gold system related to the Walker Lane trend.
