Novem Group S.A. Closes Italian Site amid Cost Optimization Efforts

On December 3, 2025, Novem Group S.A. announced the closure of its Bergamo site in Italy. This decision received approval from the Supervisory Board as part of a strategic move to optimize cost structures. Operations in Bergamo shifted from local production to a sales office following a transfer of activities in 2023 to the company’s facilities in Pilsen, Czech Republic, and Zalec, Slovenia.

The closure reflects continued weak demand in the local market. Novem aims to consolidate its operations and intends to handle Italian customer relations from its Vorbach, Germany office. The company has committed to providing socially responsible solutions for the remaining Bergamo employees while ensuring the continuity of service quality for clients.
