Enapter AG Unveils "Stack 250" for Large-Scale Hydrogen Production

Enapter AG has announced the launch of its new "Stack 250" stack generation, designed to enhance hydrogen production in the multi-megawatt range. The Stack 250 stands out with its capability to produce approximately 100 kg of high-purity hydrogen daily, marking a tenfold increase from the previous Stack 25 model.

This innovation is aimed at expanding Enapter's presence in industrial hydrogen production, addressing sectors like steel and cement manufacturing. The modular design of Stack 250 facilitates combinations with alkaline electrolysis systems, supporting hybrid hydrogen production plants with capacities exceeding 100 MW.

The Stack 250 integrates seamlessly with Enapter’s CoreKraft energy management system, utilizing AI to optimize operations. As hydrogen demand grows, particularly in Asia, this new technology is set to play a pivotal role in shifting towards renewable energy sources.
