EPC Groupe Launches Energetics and Defence Division
EPC Groupe, listed on Euronext as EXPL, has announced the formation of EPC Energetics & Defence, a new business activity focusing on energetic chemistry and defence. This development leverages the company's extensive expertise in explosives manufacture and logistics, further enhanced by the Pirobras acquisition in 2025. The company operates 26 production sites and 66 storage facilities with pyrotechnic accreditations.
The new division will address the increasing demand for dual-use energetic products, such as TNT and PETN, across Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Americas. By the third quarter of 2026, revenue from this activity will be reported separately to allow investors to track its progress. In 2026, EPC Groupe's specialized logistics experienced notable growth, securing several engineering contracts for explosives facilities.
CEO Olivier Obst highlighted the strategic importance of sovereignty and the intention to meet rising defence sector needs, strengthening EPC Groupe's position as a trusted partner.
