Finalization of the acquisition of Pirobras by EPC Group

EPC Groupe, listed on Euronext under the symbol EXPL, has completed the acquisition of Brazilian company Pirobras Industrial LTDA. This acquisition represents EPC's first presence in Brazil, a rapidly expanding mining and quarrying market.

The acquisition of Pirobras, financed entirely in cash through credit lines, completes EPC's international strategy after those of Vibraquipo in Spain and Blastcon in Australia.

Pirobras, with 35 years of experience, is a leading company in Brazil specializing in civil explosives. One of its founders will continue to support its integration until the end of 2025.

This strategic move allows EPC to accelerate its international development, by establishing itself in a territory with strong growth potential.
