Somec S.p.A. Reports Robust Financial Growth and Strong Outlook

Somec S.p.A., a specialist in complex engineering projects, has shown a significant financial performance for 2024. The company's sales increased by 3.2% to € 382.82 million, largely driven by growth in the 'Horizons' sector. EBITDA saw a notable rise of 62.7% to € 29.58 million due to a favorable sales mix and cost efficiencies.

Despite a negative consolidated result of € -3.30 million owing to restructuring and goodwill amortisation, the adjusted net result improved to € 4.80 million. Somec maintains a substantial order backlog of € 744 million, underscoring a strong outlook.

Forecasts suggest a 4.1% sales increase to € 398.55 million for 2025, with EBITDA growth of 12.1% to € 33.17 million. Strong growth is expected in the 'Horizons' and 'Mestieri' divisions. The company targets a price of € 22.50 per share with a 'BUY' recommendation.
