Finalization of Sopra Steria's share buyback program
Sopra Steria, a major European technology company, has announced the completion of its share buyback programme initiated in October 2024. The programme amounts to €150 million. Between 2 October 2024 and 28 January 2025, the company repurchased 858,163 shares at an average price of €174.792 each. The total amount remains in line with the initial target of €150 million.
The repurchased shares will be cancelled, which could positively impact the value of the remaining shares outstanding. Sopra Steria plans to publish its annual results for 2024 on 27 February 2025. This programme is part of a strategy aimed at optimising the group's financial structure.
