SouthGobi Resources Ltd. Settles Class Action Lawsuit

SouthGobi Resources Ltd. announced the approval of a CA$6.8 million settlement of a class action lawsuit by the Ontario Superior Court. The suit related to the company's past financial restatements and was filed in 2014 by Siskinds LLP. Following a mediation process in August 2025, the settlement was finalized, covering all litigation costs and liability. The settlement payments will be made by the company's insurers. The company states that this decision is not an admission of liability. Approval awaits the expiration of a 30-day appeal period, set to conclude on January 2, 2026.
