Sparta Group Nears Filing of Annual Financial Statements Amid Cease Trade Order
Sparta Group, listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol SAY, has announced progress towards filing its overdue annual financial statements. The company is currently under a Failure to File Cease Trade Order (FFCTO) from the Alberta Securities Commission due to the inability to submit its financial documents for the year ended September 30, 2024, by the January 29 deadline.
The delay, attributed to workloads affecting both Sparta and its auditors, has restricted all trading of the company's securities. Management anticipates completing the filing within April 2025. Until then, Sparta will adhere to Alternative Information Guidelines under National Policy 12-203.
Despite the FFCTO, business continues as usual. The Environment division has advanced its NeoSort nanotechnology testing in Sweden, and the Toronto e-waste recycling facility is enhancing customer acquisition and promoting its carbon credit program.
