Sterling Metals Initiates Phase 2 Drilling at Soo Copper Project

Sterling Metals Corp. has launched the Phase 2 drill program at its fully owned Soo Copper Project in Ontario. This phase follows the completion of the initial drilling campaign, aiming to further explore the 2km by 1km area of interest. By re-logging historical drill core and interpreting geophysical data, Sterling hopes to identify new surface-level mineralization and trace extensions of the GFP porphyry dyke swarms previously discovered.

The company plans to execute a 3,000 to 5,000m drill program targeting four primary areas, focusing on the GFP porphyry dyke, ZTEM resistivity anomalies, and historical mineralizations like Richards Breccia. Additionally, Sterling has expanded its soil sampling efforts across a 30km copper mineralized system and completed new geophysical inversions over a 23km² area.
