STIF completes the acquisition of the Belgian company StuvEx
On July 1, 2025, STIF, a specialist in passive explosion protection, completed the acquisition of 100% of the capital of StuvEx, a leading Belgian company in active explosion protection. This alliance marks a strategic step forward for STIF, strengthening its position as European co-leader in industrial safety.
StuvEx, with 50 employees, is recognized for its active explosion protection systems in various sectors such as the food industry. In 2024, it generated revenue of €13 million. The acquisition, primarily financed by bank debt, strengthens STIF's positioning by integrating active protection and consolidates its international influence.
