STIF secures an order with SpaceX
On November 2, 2026, the French company STIF, specializing in explosion protection, signed its first contract with SpaceX. This partnership, orchestrated by BOSS Products, a STIF subsidiary in Texas, involves supplying VIGIFLAP valves for SpaceX launch sites in Texas and Florida. This equipment is designed to protect air conditioning units in the event of a rocket failure.
This contract, worth nearly €1 million, is a first step in the strategic collaboration between the two entities. Following validation of a compliant prototype, production has begun in France, with the first deliveries scheduled for late 2026 and throughout 2027. STIF is thus strengthening its market position thanks to this alliance with SpaceX.
