STMicroelectronics inaugurates Singapore's largest district cooling system
STMicroelectronics, in partnership with SP Group and Daikin Airconditioning, has commissioned Singapore's largest district cooling system. Located at TechnoPark Ang Mo Kio, the system aims to support the company's decarbonization strategy. It will reduce carbon emissions by 120,000 tons annually and save 20% on cooling energy costs.
It will also reuse more than half a million cubic meters of water annually. This project reflects STMicroelectronics' commitment to carbon neutrality by 2027. The innovative system provides chilled water to cool manufacturing spaces and offices, replacing individual systems and strengthening Singapore's sustainability goals.
