Storm Exploration Secures Drill Permit for Gold Standard Project
Storm Exploration Inc. has obtained the permit for exploration drilling in its Gold Standard Project in northwestern Ontario. The permit allows drilling over a 5-kilometer VMS target identified on the property, effective for three years. Drilling is anticipated to start in Q3, with a request for proposals for up to 3,000 meters already issued to various companies.
A previous VTEM survey highlighted a VMS system on the site. Historical drilling by International Nickel Co. in 1969 and 1970 supported this, showing significant sulphide mineralization. The site lies within the territory of the Naicatchewenin and Nigigoonsiminikaaning First Nations, with whom Storm has agreements.
The company also adopted semi-annual financial reporting and granted stock options to its team. These changes align with Coordinated Blanket Order 51-933, impacting financial disclosures for June and December quarters.
