STRABAG Launches TETRIQX for Affordable Housing Solutions

STRABAG has introduced TETRIQX, a serially producible residential construction system, aiming to address Austria's housing market challenges. With construction costs starting at €1,950/m², TETRIQX promises a reduction in both build times and CO₂ emissions. The modular system, featuring a high degree of prefabrication, offers three building types that fit atop existing structures up to seven stories high.

This innovation arrives as traditional construction methods face limitations. TETRIQX allows for shorter construction times, reducing disruption in urban areas. It combines sustainability with affordability, utilizing efficient materials and offering energy-efficient heating and cooling at no extra cost. The new system reduces CO₂ emissions by up to 50% over the building’s life cycle.
