Taranis Resources Identifies Key Geochemical Zones at Thor Project

Taranis Resources Inc. has announced significant geochemical findings at their Thor project in British Columbia. The company's recent exploration efforts focused on identifying a deep mineralized intrusive body through geochemical alteration studies. These studies, using the Gresens method, examined drill cores to quantify metasomatism and revealed intriguing alterations that may indicate underlying mineralization.

The findings highlight distinct zones of alteration within host rocks, varying from weak sericitization to intense carbonatization. The Bomb Unit, located at 500 meters below surface, shows significant graphite content, explaining its conductivity, and suggests proximity to an intrusive body. Furthermore, the I-1 and I-2 intrusives demonstrate zonation patterns with strontium enrichment and barium depletion, drawing parallels with other well-known deposits.

John Gardiner, CEO, notes the promising geochemical data will guide future exploration efforts, especially with plans to expand the Thor project’s scope in 2025. By addressing land constraints, Taranis aims to further uncover the source of Thor's mineralization.
