Technip Energies to Acquire Ecovyst's Advanced Materials & Catalysts Business
Technip Energies has announced a definitive agreement to acquire the Advanced Materials & Catalysts division from Ecovyst Inc. for $556 million. This acquisition marks a strategic expansion of Technip Energies' catalyst capabilities and is expected to immediately boost earnings and cash flow. By acquiring this business, Technip Energies aims to enhance its technology offerings, especially in sustainable fuels and advanced materials sectors.
The acquisition will expand Technip Energies' Technology, Products & Services segment, increasing its visibility and revenue contributions. The transaction is set to close by Q1 2026, pending regulatory approvals. The Advanced Materials & Catalysts business, with revenues of $223 million, brings extensive expertise in chemicals and downstream sectors.
