Total Telcom's Subsidiary Secures Middle East Tracking Contract
Total Telcom Inc.'s subsidiary, ROM Communications Inc, secured a $150,000 contract for a vehicle tracking and management system targeting remote, off-road operations in the Middle East. This project will utilize ROM's established expertise in racing management and Vessel Monitoring Systems (VMS) by incorporating custom tracking hardware and a geospatial web interface that features a two-way satellite datalink.
CEO Neil Magrath emphasized that ROM's proprietary RacingTraX system is gaining global recognition, which has led to securing this contract. The company's strategic growth efforts in racing operations include introducing "Race-in-a-box," licensing the RacingTraX logo to Microsoft's Xbox, utilizing StarLink for enhanced tracking speeds, and developing a third-party virtual reality racing experience.
