Capital increase reserved for TotalEnergies employees in 2026
TotalEnergies has announced a capital increase for its current and former employees planned for 2026. This initiative is in line with its employee share ownership policy. At the Annual General Meeting in May 2025, the Board of Directors received authorization to proceed with this operation, limited to 1.5% of the share capital.
On May 19, 2026, a subscription price of €62 per share was set. The subscription period runs from June 3 to 17, 2026. The offering concerns 18 million shares, representing 0.8% of the share capital. The new shares will be admitted to trading on Euronext and NYSE immediately upon issuance.
Participating employees will receive a matching contribution in the form of free shares based on their personal investment. The subscribed shares must be held for five years, subject to specific early redemption conditions.
