Touchstone Exploration Provides Operational Update

Touchstone Exploration Inc., based in Calgary, has released recent operational updates from its activities in Trinidad and Tobago. During August and early September 2026, the focus was on development and production optimization in the WD-4, Ortoire, and Central blocks.

In the WD-4 Block, preparations for two drilling locations are complete. The first of the two wells is set to spud in mid-September 2026, with costs for the second well covered by the contractor. This move aims to boost oil production under the WD-4 Lease Operatorship Agreement.

In the Cascadura area of the Ortoire Block, a solvent treatment at Cascadura-2ST1 led to improved production, suggesting potential optimization at other wells. The production team targets increased natural gas output following the commencement of the Cascadura booster compressor operations in July.

For the Central Block, a workover at the CR-3 well delivered limited results. The company is aiming to complete the uphole Karamat sands program by October 2026, targeting improved hydrocarbon recovery.

Touchstone amended its marketing contract, aligning condensate pricing with the Brent crude oil benchmark, potentially enhancing pricing results. In total, the company's production metrics indicate a stable output with projected enhancements.
