Eiffel Tower Company: Update on SMABTP's public offering and an ongoing dispute
The Société de la Tour Eiffel has published an addendum to its fairness opinion of May 18, 2026, concerning the proposed public delisting offer (OPR-RO) by the SMABTP group. This document responds to legal action initiated by minority shareholders regarding the capital increase of January 2025.
The plaintiffs are seeking either the cancellation of the increase or financial compensation. The Company rejects these claims, asserting that the increase was essential and widely approved. Cancellation is deemed impractical given the complexity of repaying the funds raised. A ruling on the claim is expected in several months.
