Triton Establishes Nationwide Group formicon

Triton Beratungsgesellschaft GmbH has announced the creation of formicon, a new architecture and engineering group in Germany. Advised by the Triton Smaller Mid-Cap Fund II, formicon aims to become a market leader in integrated planning for complex construction projects. This new entity brings together several firms, including blfp, IBJ Planungsgesellschaft, enertec, and SGP3, to provide a single point of contact across all service phases.

Headquartered in Frankfurt, formicon employs approximately 180 people and generates annual revenue nearing 30 million euros. With locations across Germany, the company offers services from technical building equipment to healthcare construction, prioritizing sustainable practices.

Triton's strategy is to build high-quality platforms in fragmented industries, aiming to develop formicon into a market leader. This collaboration highlights Triton's approach to partnering with emerging businesses to achieve significant growth.
