Triton to Sell FläktGroup to Samsung for €1.5 Billion

On May 14, 2025, Triton Beratungsgesellschaft GmbH announced the sale of FläktGroup to Samsung Electronics Co, Ltd. for €1.5 billion. This deal, reflecting an enterprise value of €1.8 billion, is set to close within the year, pending regulatory approvals.

FläktGroup emerged in 2016 from a merger involving DencoHappel and FläktWoods. Under Triton's leadership, it became a European leader in energy-efficient air technology, providing innovative ventilation and cooling solutions. Its products serve critical markets, including data centers and pharmaceutical facilities.

Michael Gahleitner from Triton praised FläktGroup's achievements, while CEO Trevor Young acknowledged their strategic progress in the HVAC sector. TM Roh from Samsung sees this acquisition as pivotal for its global HVAC ambitions.

This sale is part of Triton's several successful exits in a challenging market, totaling nearly €6 billion.
