Major technology transfer between Tronics and Thales
On June 12, 2025, Tronics, a subsidiary of the TDK Group, announced the signing of a technology transfer and licensing agreement with Thales AVS France SAS. This agreement marks a key milestone in the collaboration between the two companies, aimed at transferring the manufacturing of Thales's customized sensors, currently produced at Tronics, to a Thales site.
As part of this partnership, Tronics will relocate a specific manufacturing process developed jointly with Thales. The usage rights associated with this technology will also be exchanged between the two parties. The project will be implemented over 30 months, representing an investment of approximately €10 million.
