TUI AG Posts Resilient Q3 Performance Amid Challenges
TUI AG reported a resilient Q3 underlying EBIT of €234.6m, showcasing robust business performance despite geopolitical challenges and one-off impacts like the Iran war. This is a significant decline of €86.1m from the previous year. The company reaffirms its guidance for FY26 EBIT to be between €1.1bn and €1.4bn.
Segment-wise, Hotels & Resorts maintained solid demand, contributing €122.7m in EBIT, while Cruises showed improved performance despite adverse external influences. TUI Musement also registered growth with improved B2B performance, but Markets + Airline faced a downturn due to weaker demand and price pressures.
Net debt reached €2.3bn, primarily due to working capital impacts. Despite these challenges, TUI remains optimistic, driven by strong summer booking momentum and strategic sustainability initiatives, including the introduction of lower-emission ships.
