U-blox Launches First F11 Products, Offers Ultra-Low Power GNSS Solutions
Thalwil, Switzerland, July 2, 2026 – u-blox, renowned for its positioning and communication technologies, announced the rollout of its inaugural F11 platform products. These include the UBX-F11270-KB and UBX-F11170-CC GNSS chips, alongside the EVK-F112 evaluation kit, unveiling a new era of ultra-low power positioning solutions.
The F11 series introduces exceptional power efficiency at meter-level GNSS accuracy across various conditions, consuming just 7 mW in LEAP mode. This architecture supports a range of applications like aftermarket telematics, asset tracking, drones, and wearables.
The F11 lineup includes dual-band and L1-only options, maximizing developer flexibility while adhering to low power consumption. Michael Ammann of u-blox highlighted the dual achievement of maintaining battery longevity and precise GNSS performance.
