Ubisoft finalizes Tencent's investment in Vantage Studios

On November 21, 2025, Ubisoft announced the completion of Tencent's strategic investment in its subsidiary Ubisoft Nova SAS, known as Vantage Studios. This €1.16 billion investment values the subsidiary at €3.8 billion before the cash injection. This crucial partnership for Ubisoft aims to strengthen its financial structure by leveraging its renowned franchises such as Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, and Rainbow Six.

Vantage Studios, operational since October, aims to accelerate the growth of these franchises, targeting annual revenues exceeding one billion euros. Control of Vantage Studios remains under the exclusive supervision of Ubisoft, despite Tencent's 26.32% economic stake. A shareholders' agreement, including veto rights and other protections for Tencent, governs this cooperation.

This collaboration between Ubisoft and Tencent will offer both companies interesting prospects in the interactive entertainment sector.
