France and Italy Collaborate to Ensure Olive Oil Safety

On December 17, 2025, Unaprol and France Olive Production announced a joint initiative to enhance consumer safety in the olive oil sector. This project focuses on monitoring the quality of extra virgin olive oil through comprehensive testing in France and Italy. The initiative, supported by European regulations, aims to address potential health hazards such as pesticide residues and contaminants.

The collaboration emphasizes the importance of sustainable agriculture and biodiversity preservation. By adhering to rigorous standards like the UNI EN ISO 22005/08, the project seeks to prevent contamination risks.
