UniDoc Health Corp. has announced the integration of its telehealth platform, UniDoc Connect, in the San Juan Municipality's ambulance fleet, equipped with the latest E-PTZ cameras. The Department of Health in San Juan will use this technology to conduct real-time patient video assessments, allowing for more efficient pre-hospital care.
The San Juan Department of Health manages a fleet of 21 ambulances now utilizing UniDoc's system. This includes multipurpose examination cameras, e-stethoscopes, and ECGs, which help doctors conduct preliminary exams during transport. The new E-PTZ camera was introduced to overcome prior limitations, enabling clearer patient assessments.
This technology addresses delays incurred during patient transport, allowing medical teams to engage more effectively even before hospital arrival. The deployment of these systems is ongoing, with the expectation of improved healthcare outcomes as the program expands.
