Change in Management Board of United Internet AG

United Internet AG has announced a significant change in its management team. Carsten Theurer, the current Chief Financial Officer, will leave the company on December 31, 2026. Theurer decided to step down at the end of his contract, which is a decision met with regret by the Supervisory Board and CEO Ralph Dommermuth. Philipp von Bismarck expressed gratitude for Theurer’s contributions, particularly in finance, corporate governance, and market communications.

Theurer, acknowledging the trust and cooperation during his tenure, plans to engage in new entrepreneurial endeavors while maintaining a connection with the Group as a member of the Supervisory Board of IONOS Group SE. André Driesen has been appointed as the new CFO effective November 1, 2026. Driesen brings extensive experience in finance and has previously held key roles at Drillisch AG and 1&1 Drillisch AG. His appointment aims to continue the Group’s organizational development.
