Unusual Machines Secures $3.75 Million Order from Performance Drone Works

Unusual Machines, based in Orlando, Florida, has received a significant order from Performance Drone Works (PDW) valued at $3.75 million. This order supports the scaling of PDW's AM-FPV program and enhances America's small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) supply base. The collaboration underscores Unusual Machines’ role as a strategic supplier in boosting domestic drone infrastructure.

CEO Allan Evans of Unusual Machines highlighted the order’s alignment with national priorities, marking progress in establishing a U.S.-based manufacturing base for critical drone components. Ryan Gury, CEO of PDW, emphasized the order's importance in scaling compliant FPV inventory to meet rising demand.

This order follows Unusual Machines' investments in U.S. manufacturing, focusing on domestic motor production and space for headset assembly. The partnership is vital for PDW, which recently enhanced its capability with Drone Factory 01 for rapid production.
