BlackRock exceeds the 5% threshold of VALEO voting rights

BlackRock Inc., in a letter dated July 17, 2025, declared, on behalf of its clients and managed funds, that it had crossed upwards the threshold of 5% of the voting rights of the company VALEO. As of July 16, 2025, the asset manager held 14,728,166 VALEO shares, representing 6.02% of the capital and 5.36% of the voting rights.

This crossing is the result of share purchases on the market and an increase in shares held as collateral. BlackRock has discretionary power over the exercise of voting rights linked to the securities, unless otherwise indicated by the clients concerned.

Some of these shares come from open-ended financial contracts and securities lending. BlackRock also holds other shares on behalf of clients, for whom the latter retain voting rights.
