David Clarke joins the Board of Directors of Vallourec

On February 26, 2026, Vallourec announced the appointment of David Clarke to its Board of Directors. This decision was made at the request of ArcelorMittal to replace Keith James Howell. David Clarke will also join the Nominations and Governance Committee. His appointment will be submitted for ratification at the Annual General Meeting on May 21, 2026.

David Clarke joined Mittal Steel in 2003, playing a key role in the mergers, notably the one with Arcelor. He became Vice President of Strategy in 2007 and held various senior management positions at ArcelorMittal until 2021. He holds a PhD in theoretical physics from Princeton University.

The Vallourec Board comprises nine members, with a majority of independent directors and near gender parity. Vallourec is a world leader in providing tubular solutions for the energy sector.
