Vallourec and Ultra Corpotech Pvt Ltd: a strategic partnership in India
Vallourec, a global specialist in premium tubular solutions, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Ultra Corpotech Pvt Ltd, a major player in the oil and gas sector in India and the United States. The agreement aims to deploy VAM® threading technologies in India by the end of 2026, with commissioning beginning in early 2027. This cooperation focuses on optimizing the supply chain to provide local and certified solutions.
This strategic partnership follows the global trend of industrial redeployment by oil companies. More than 50% of production capacity has left North America for Asia, taking advantage of industrial opportunities in Mumbai. Vallourec, with Ultra Corpotech, is adapting through a low-capital-intensive model, focusing on premium solutions and enhanced competitiveness for Ultra.
