Vallourec and Ultra Corpotech Sign MoU for VAM® Threading Capabilities in India
On June 9, 2026, Vallourec announced a Memorandum of Understanding with Ultra Corpotech Pvt Ltd. This collaboration aims to deploy Vallourec's VAM® threading capabilities in India, with the implementation expected by late 2026 and operation by early 2027.

The move aligns with a broader shift of manufacturing activities towards the Eastern Hemisphere, especially around Mumbai, balancing industrial competitiveness and proximity to Middle Eastern markets.
Vallourec aims to support this evolution while maintaining quality standards. The agreement allows Ultra Corpotech to integrate VAM® technology, promoting operational efficiency. Both companies stress the importance of rapid response to customer demands with minimized industrial risks.
