Varengold Bank Appoints Tobias M. Weitzel to Supervisory Board

Varengold Bank AG has announced the appointment of Tobias M. Weitzel as a new member of its Supervisory Board. Mr. Weitzel will take over from Dr. Karl-Heinz Lemnitzer, who resigned due to personal reasons. The Management and Supervisory Boards expressed gratitude for Dr. Lemnitzer's contributions to the bank's development.

Tobias M. Weitzel is a seasoned entrepreneur and financial expert. He founded CREDION AG, an innovative financing platform in Hamburg. Moreover, he oversees risk management and compliance at CREDION Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH. His experience includes tenure at the Financial Experts Association e.V. and other notable positions in the tech and AI sectors.

Alongside current members Dirk Auerbach and Vasil Stefanov, Mr. Weitzel is expected to contribute significantly to the bank's strategic direction.
