Verbio SE Suspends Dividend for 2024/25 Financial Year
Leipzig, September 22, 2025 – Verbio SE's Supervisory and Management Boards have decided not to propose a dividend for the financial year 2024/25. This decision aligns with the adoption of the audited annual financial statements for the same period. The financial statements confirmed the anticipated EBITDA figures.
The decision was influenced by political measures suspending the carry-over of GHG quotas for 2025 and 2026, immobilizing approximately EUR 100 million in inventory assets. These financial assets are expected to be freed by 2027, with a significant rise in quota prices anticipated from 2026.
The suspension of the dividend is aimed at bolstering the company's liquidity, allowing Verbio to maintain high quota levels post-2027, supporting its strategic financial flexibility and prudent policy.
