VINCI Secures Three Major Contracts in Australia
Seymour Whyte, a subsidiary of VINCI Construction in Australia, has been awarded three construction contracts worth a total of 431 million euros (773 million Australian dollars). These projects are set to improve transport infrastructures in Queensland and New South Wales.
In the Gold Coast, Seymour Whyte will construct a 4.4km section of the Coomera Connector. Valued at 229 million euros, this corridor aims to ease congestion and enhance connectivity between Logan City and the Gold Coast. The project includes the construction of three new bridges, such as a 300-metre bridge across the Nerang River.
Another project involves upgrading a road and building a bridge in Moreton Bay. Estimated at 48 million euros, these works will improve flood resilience and commence in 2025. Finally, a 154 million euro contract in Sydney involves upgrading the M5 Motorway to support economic growth in the region.
