VinFast Launches Enhanced VF 8 Electric SUV

VinFast has revealed the new-generation VF 8, an advanced D-segment electric SUV that embodies significant upgrades in design, technology, and features. Officially unveiled on May 21, 2026, the VF 8 aims to elevate the user experience with a smoother and more stable driving feel.

The VF 8 integrates VinFast's "Tech Fluid" design philosophy, combining technology seamlessly with modern aesthetics. Measuring 4,701 mm in length, it offers optimized cabin space with a five-seat configuration and advanced comfort features, including dual-zone automatic climate control and ergonomic seating.

The vehicle introduces a new chassis platform with Frequency Selective Dampers (FSD) for a more stable ride. A significant technological leap is its Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) architecture, featuring a Central Vehicle Computer for enhanced vehicle management. A 60.13 kWh battery supports a 500 km range and fast-charging capabilities.

Safety is addressed with an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) to meet ASEAN NCAP 5-star standards. Pre-orders in Vietnam start on May 27, 2026, with deliveries beginning in late July.
