Vivendi: A solid first half of 2025
Vivendi reported promising results for the first half of 2025. Gameloft, a subsidiary of the group, posted revenue growth of more than 8%, reaching €143 million. Gameloft's EBITA increased by €20 million thanks to its resilient catalog and cost-cutting strategy.
The group also reduced its structural costs to €52 million, improving its adjusted operating profit (EBITA) to €18 million, an increase of €47 million compared to 2024. Vivendi posted a net profit of €30 million and a portfolio of investments of €7 billion thanks to strategic disposals.
Debt reduction remains a strong point, with debt reduced to €1.8 billion. However, Vivendi is facing an investigation by the European Commission regarding its acquisition of Lagardère.
