R&S Group Divests Non-Core Business to Pfiffner Group

R&S Group Holding AG has announced the divestment of its "Electrical Switches & Connectors" division to Pfiffner Group. Located in Sissach, Switzerland, this branch employs 26 people and generates CHF 8–10 million annually. The sale aligns with R&S Group's strategy to concentrate on its core transformer business, which includes power, oil distribution, dry-type, and instrument transformers.

Pfiffner Switchgear Ltd, part of the privately held Pfiffner Group, will take over the operations. The transition will retain all employees, ensuring continuity and preserving operational expertise. With a solid industry presence, Pfiffner aims to integrate these operations into their existing low- and medium-voltage product offerings.

The deal is expected to close by the end of 2025, pending customary conditions. The transaction value remains undisclosed.
