Waskahigan Oil & Gas Shareholders Approve Key Resolutions
On June 4, 2025, Waskahigan Oil & Gas Corp held a special shareholders' meeting, during which all four proposed resolutions were approved. These resolutions were initially outlined in the company's May 6, 2025 information circular and a subsequent press release on May 26, 2025. Impressively, shareholders controlling 9,847,792 out of 9,848,009 shares, representing 99.99%, voted in favor of the resolutions via special resolution and majority of the minority.
The company announced a court application is set for June 6, 2025. Scheduled at 2:00 PM, this virtual hearing will seek approval for the Plan of Arrangement Amending Agreement #2. Waskahigan Oil & Gas has extended an invitation to shareholders wishing to participate in the virtual session, instructing them to contact Wolff Leia, Barristers and Solicitors, ahead of the hearing.
