Worldline: Appointment of Pierre-Antoine Vacheron as Chief Executive Officer

Worldline announces the appointment of Pierre-Antoine Vacheron as Chief Executive Officer, effective March 1, 2025. He succeeds Marc-Henri Desportes, who has been serving in this role on an interim basis since October 2024. Pierre-Antoine Vacheron has 30 years of experience in the banking and payments sectors, most recently serving as Chief Payments Officer at BPCE. His experience includes the transformation of large enterprises, a major asset for Worldline.

Worldline’s Board of Directors looks forward to Vacheron bringing new perspectives, focused on transforming performance, improving customer experience and developing talent within the company. The Board expressed its gratitude to Marc-Henri Desportes for his leadership during his interim period.

Wilfried Verstraete, Chairman of the Board, says that Vacheron, with its expertise, is ideally suited to guide Worldline in a constantly changing market context. Worldline’s 2024 annual results will be published on February 26, 2025.
