Worldline Completes Divestment of ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions JV
On July 31, 2026, Worldline, a prominent European payment services provider, finalized the divestment of its 51% stake in Worldline Australia Pty Ltd, trading as ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions, to its joint venture partner ANZ. This transaction values Worldline’s share at approximately €107 million on a 100% enterprise value basis.
ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions is an established player in merchant acquiring, serving SMBs and Enterprise clients throughout Australia. Despite the divestment, Worldline will continue to offer technology and software services to ANZ temporarily to ensure seamless operational continuity.
The net cash proceeds from this and other recent divestments, including Worldline North America and PaymentIQ, are estimated between €590 and €640 million. This move strengthens Worldline’s financial profile, enhancing strategic flexibility and supporting capital redeployment towards core activities. Worldline remains committed to its North Star 2030 transformation plan to boost revenue growth and free cash flow generation.
