Ningbo Consensus on Collaborative Development Unveiled at Global Mayors Dialogue 2026
The Ningbo Consensus on Collaborative Development was announced during the 2026 Global Mayors Dialogue in Ningbo, China, on November 3. This event, themed "Openness and Connectivity for Shared Opportunities," saw participation from 260 individuals, including mayors and representatives from 15 countries such as France and Italy.
The consensus focuses on three core areas: industrial cooperation, trade openness, and people-to-people exchanges. The participants emphasized innovation, mutual benefits, and maintaining stable supply chains within a multilateral trading system. They also aim to enhance cultural, educational, and healthcare exchanges, fostering a cohesive international community.
The dialogue aims to boost city-to-city cooperation and contribute to sustainable urban development worldwide, supported by the governments of Ningbo and Zhejiang Province.
